A Note from the Nurse

Posted Date: 03/02/26 (09:28 AM)

Spring is not here yet, and winter illnesses are still circulating throughout our school community. As a reminder, please keep your child home from school if they have any of the following symptoms. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need any additional guidance.

  • Fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit within past 24 hours (student’s must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school)

  • Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours

  • Uncontrollable and/or productive cough

  • Sore throat and swollen glands

  • Undiagnosed rash or skin eruptions

If your child is diagnosed with a communicable disease (i.e., strep throat, flu, pneumonia, COVID-19, etc.) please notify me. School nurses throughout our district track illnesses, and reports from families allow us to identify and address illnesses that may be spreading at school.

I appreciate your partnership in helping to minimize the spread of illness!
