Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Registration
Thank you for your interest in Watertown Public Schools’ Preschool and PreKindergarten programs!
We are excited to share our upcoming enrollment timeline with you:
Thursday, December 18 – Google Form for enrollment lottery open
Wednesday, January 7 – Visiting Day-3:00-3:40pm at Early Steps 1 Concord Road Watertown
Thursday, January 22 – Lottery Form closes at 3:00 PM
Friday, January 30 – Enrollment notification emails sent
March 2026 – WPS Registration link opens for the 2026– 2027 school year
The application period is open from December 18 through January 22 at 3:00 PM.
The process is not first-come, first-served. A randomized lottery will be held for spaces in both the PreK and Preschool classrooms. All applicants will be notified by email by Friday, January 30, 2026 of application status.
Reminders:
- Children who are three years old by August 31, 2026, are eligible to attend our fee-based Preschool classrooms on a space-available basis.
- Children who are four years old by August 31, 2026, are eligible to attend our PreKindergarten program, free of charge, on a space-available basis.
